Our purpose

 

Handmade Dolls from Kaolack, Senegal

Each doll is carefully handmade (as shown on CNN). The large dolls (80cm / 31" tall) each take about five days to complete.

We begin working on your individual unique doll as soon as we receive your order. We will send you an email to confirm that your doll is in progress. As soon as we finish, we will ship the doll via standard parcel post. We will send you a second email to let you know your doll has shipped and is on the way.

Because our dolls may have small plastic buttons or other ornaments, we advise you that our dolls do NOT make suitable toys for children under the age of five. Your family's safety comes first to us.

Shipping and delivery

It takes on the average three weeks for a doll to arrive at a destination in the USA; about two weeks to three weeks for most destinations in Europe. We looked at DHL and UPS, but they are prohibitively expensive when shipping from Senegal. (If you have special shippping requirements, please contact us at 10000girls.org). If you order multiple items from our store, we will ship them together at the lowest cost -- and then rebate you via PayPal the difference.
